I am an applied mathematician and theoretical cosmologist. My research interests are in bifurcation theory (dynamical systems, singularity theory, catastrophe theory), and general relativity (theoretical cosmology, spacetime singularities, general theory of black holes).

Since 2020, I hold a research professorship at the Institute of Gravitation and Cosmology, RUDN University, Moscow, Russia. I have been a Professor at the University of the Aegean, Samos, Greece, a Scientific Associate at CERN, Geneva, Switzerland, a Visiting Fellow at Cambridge University, UK, and a visiting professor in various universities and research centers around the world.
